We hope you and yours are healthy and safe during this extraordinary time. 

Please join us the First Monday of May ~ 5/4/20 ~ from 12:00pm-1:00pm PST for the monthly Lamorinda Drum Circle. 

JOIN FROM ANYWHERE ~ using our online Zoom meeting space!

ALL AGES DRUM CIRCLE ~ kids and families are welcome to join! (Young kids can also join our weekly Friday noontime music event)

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY ~ beginner to advanced levels welcomed!

NO INSTRUMENT REQUIRED ~ if you do not have a drum, we will teach you light body percussion

Our team of Music Therapists will host these online events with specific intentions in mind, for example reviewing drumming essentials and favorite rhythms. Our Music Therapists are able to create a fluid experience based on the in-the-moment needs of the participants. Thanks in advance for being flexible and understanding of any adaptations. 

For participants open to bring photographed, Photos and screen shots will to be taken during the event for social media and our website. Please let us know prior to the event if you are open to being part of a photo. Please do not feel obligated; instead we will take extra precautions not to use photos that include you or your child. We welcome everyone's full participation, including being present with your voices and faces even if you communicate to not share your photo.

Participants are asked to send donations of $10-20 prior to the event and we will follow up with access to the Zoom password. Donations can be made through e-payment via Zelle or PayPal to kathy@musicfortherapy.com. If you need to mail a check you can contact Kathy Quain at the same email address. While we are asking everyone to try to donate what they can, no one will be turned away from this event for lack of funds.
